What the site keeps
The app does not require user accounts and does not maintain a permanent database of the addresses people search for.
HalfwayFinder
Find the halfway point between two addresses, compare travel times, and discover places to meet.
Privacy
HalfwayFinder is designed to answer a midpoint search without asking people to create accounts or build up a searchable history of addresses on the site.
The app does not require user accounts and does not maintain a permanent database of the addresses people search for.
When you run a search, the addresses are sent to the geocoding, routing, and place-data providers needed to calculate the midpoint and return nearby places.
The form only remembers your last search inside the current browser tab using session storage. Open a fresh tab or close the current one and those values are gone.
Used only to answer the request
Address and location data are used to geocode both starting points, estimate travel time, find the exact midpoint, reverse-geocode the result area, and load nearby places when suggestions are enabled.
Not used for accounts or inboxes
HalfwayFinder does not ask for sign-up details, does not create user profiles, and does not run a customer account system around your searches.
Ads are optional and only appear when monetization is enabled in production. If Google AdSense is turned on, Google may set cookies or process usage data under Google's own policies.
Analytics are optional too. If Plausible is enabled, it is used only to understand traffic and site health at a high level.
Use Clear this tab on the main tool to wipe the current form state immediately.
Because the remembered values live in tab-scoped session storage, opening a new tab gives you a clean form by default.
HalfwayFinder relies on third-party mapping and routing services to resolve addresses, estimate travel, and look up nearby places. Those providers may process the address or coordinate data needed to answer your request.
